retrofit newer rearview mirrors to 1995 ford truck

I have a 1995 ford f250 dsl that has small outside electric rear view mirrors - not much good for towing a trailer or seeing around my camper. The newer extending type mirrors look they would fit in the vent window area but which year should I try?

I really don't have any idea, I would suggest looking at different years and taking measurements and then flip a coin. I know not the best idea but maybe some one else may have already done this an offer a better suggestion.
